Cricket Victoria

Cirka is pleased to announce our recent partnership with Cricket Victoria, in providing the cleaning and waste management services to the newly developed Victorian Cricket & Community Centre at the Junction Oval precinct in Melbourne.  The facility is currently under redevelopment with the opening on the first weekend of March when Victoria host the old enemy NSW in it’s upcoming Sheffield Shield game. The venue will include 3 levels of elite performance facilities, administration offices, an indoor cricket centre and a newly developed Internationally compliant oval.   The VCCC will host elite junior teams both male and female, BBL teams The Melbourne Renegades and The Melbourne Stars, The Victorian Bushrangers and Premier Cricket team St Kilda. We look forward to working together with Cricket Victoria at this fantastic venue.

MotoGP

Huge effort by our Cirka events team at last weekends Phillip Island MotoGP.  Our 80 strong team worked around the clock in challenging weather to deliver the circuit in prime condition.

SA Cirka launch

We had a great night celebrating the launch of the Cirka brand with our South Australian business partners at the beautiful Adelaide Convention Centre.  MC Amanda Blair interviewed our Managing Director Matthew Bond, Chief Operating Officer Dale Cooney and SA General Manager Chris Morgan to find out more about the history of the company, the evolution of the brand and our plans for the future.

What a great evening last week, presenting the Cirka brand story to our Melbourne business partners at The Events Centre at Collins Square.  Host Hamish McLachlan spoke to our Managing Director Matthew Bond about the evolution of the business and our plans for the future.

Employee of the Year

Congratulations to Patricia Santos on winning the 2016/17 Cirka Employee of the Year award for her outstanding efforts in her role as Night Manager at AMP’s Bourke Place. Patricia was presented with her award by Cirka's Managing Director Matthew Bond at a team event this week.

Run Melbourne

Great work by our Cirka team for heading out on a fresh Sunday morning to participate in this year's Run Melbourne. Together the team raised $1925 for the Captain Courageous Foundation. Thank you to all of our supporters for their generous donations. Well done to Nathalie Schmidt for all your hard work in coordinating the team and the day.

MotoGP

Cirka will be managing the cleaning and waste services for the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island in October. We are excited to be working with such a world leading brand and look forward to the event later this year.

151 Pirie St Adelaide

Cirka has commenced the provision of cleaning and associated services to 151 Pirie St in Adelaide's CBD. The team is looking forward to working in partnership with CBRE to deliver a high standard of service to this property and its tenants. 

National Contractor of the Year

Cirka was honoured to be awarded the AMP National Contractor of the Year. Managing Director Matthew Bond was proud to accept the award on behalf of our entire AMP team, with particular thanks to Isabel Sierra, Shane Pullen, Natalia Fonseca, Patricia Santos, Geraldine Northover, Thiago Monteiro and Smony Fong.  We thank the team at AMP for recognising Cirka and look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership.

What is not changing is the same great service delivery, our focused team members, our ABN and bank details will also remain unchanged.

Australian Open 2017

Congratulations to our Australian Open Tennis team on a successful 2017 event. With a record crowd attendance this year of 728,763 tennis fans, our 600 staff worked tirelessly to keep the precinct in top shape. Special mention to our events management team of Peter Carroll, Dave Cuthbert, Adrian Devincenzi­ and Laura Bromiley for all their hard work in the lead up to the event as well as the post event clean up.

AAMI Park

AAMI Park was a stunning venue for the Melbourne Bruce Springsteen concerts in February. Great work by our cleaning team, keeping the stadium looking pristine.

91 King William St

The team in Adelaide are delighted to announce its office relocation to the heart of the city at 91 King William St. Based on the 26th floor of Westpac House, a building we have serviced for 14 years, the relocation provides the management team greater access to our CBD clients, taking our service provision to another unique level.
