In alignment with this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, “Bridging Now to Next,” we want to reaffirm our commitment to the reconciliation journey. At Cirka, this is an ideal opportunity for all of us to explore our shared histories, cultures, and achievements and to learn how we can actively contribute to reconciliation in Australia.
This week, Jodi Sampson from Corporate Culcha conducted an Indigenous Cultural Awareness workshop for our management team and several of our Melbourne sites, helping us appreciate Indigenous culture and how it relates to the workplace.
Also, next Tuesday, the Melbourne and Adelaide offices will have a learning session where participants will learn about what National Reconciliation Week is, why the dates are significant, and a little bit about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s culture.

Cirka was pleased to show Jodi Sampson from Corporate Culcha around some of our jobsites. We were thrilled to have him speak with us this week as we continue our cultural learning journey as a company and as individuals.
