A busy event calendar means busy teams behind the scenes. Across Melbourne, Cirka’s Venues & Events teams work across major sporting and event venues to keep spaces clean, safe and ready for crowds before, during and after.
Over recent weeks, our teams have supported the National 4×4 Outdoors Show at Melbourne Royal®, the Victorian Age Short Course Championships and REMA – Royal Empire at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC), as well as a weekend of back-to-back fixtures at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville.
Every event brings different operational demands. At MSAC, our teams maintained venue presentation across spectator areas, amenities and other high-traffic spaces throughout live events. At Melbourne Royal, our team provided presentation and waste management services across the three-day 4×4 Outdoors Show.
At the State Netball and Hockey Centre, the focus extended from grooming turf between games to using an autonomous floor scrubber across the concourse. This combination of experienced people and fit-for-purpose technology helps our teams manage repetitive tasks efficiently while remaining focused on the areas that require human attention and judgement.
And when the crowds leave, the work continues.
Our post-event services include deep cleaning and specialised pressure washing, such as removing oil residue at Lakeside Stadium, helping reset venues to the required standard and prepare them for what comes next.
Our flexible venue presentation services are tailored to the evolving needs of busy sporting and event environments, covering everything from event preparation, such as live servicing, waste management, specialised cleaning, and post-event resets.
Behind every event-ready venue is a team that makes it happen before, during, and after the crowds arrive.
