Lest We Forget.
For the first time in over 100 years we won’t see crowded public dawn services or our veterans marching on this year’s Anzac Day. However we can still commemorate by watching a televised service and by participating in the Light Up the Dawn initiative. This year also allows many of us more time to reflect on those who have served and sacrificed and to think about how lucky we are to live in this country.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
