International Women’s Day Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity

Our teams from Melbourne and Adelaide participated in a volunteering event in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International to commemorate International Women’s Day. This initiative aimed to support women in our community who are facing challenging housing situations due to domestic violence and homelessness.

Twelve of our staff members had the opportunity to spend a day painting transitional shelters and refurbishing accommodations for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

Our participation aligns with the UN theme for International Women’s Day 2025’s Day—”For ALL women and girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment”- and aims to uplift the women and girls in our community, providing equal opportunities to empower the next generation for success.

At Cirka, making a positive impact on the community is incredibly important to us. We understand that our contribution can make a significant difference for those in vulnerable situations.

Through collective effort, we can help create safe and secure housing for women and children facing hardship.
